ADSIC:Deletion policy

The ADSIC: Deletion Policy is considerably less strict than Wikipedia, but very few articles on ADSIC will ever warrant a AfD.

AfD is short for "Article for Deletion".

An Article is eligible for AfD if one or more of the requirements are met:

  • No longer applicable to the topic at hand (unless of historical notation)
  • Founded with no particular basis
  • Serves no initial purpose for ADSIC.
  • Page is an advertisement or SPAM.

Most articles will NEVER ever need an AfD. If the page was originally considered "sound" (such as the State/Texas/2007) page, and somebody vandalized the crap out of it, contact a sys-op to revert the page back. Reversion to previous state, or even minor editing can fix 95% of problems for pages.

If for some reason, an article DOES need an AfD tag, put in {{AfD}} in the beginning of a page. All articles with the AfD tag will be reviewed by a sys-op or Governor-General, and action will be taken accordingly.
