Garland High School is the main powerhouse of Garland ISD. They are currently 5-time District champions.
Garland captured second place in Texas in 1997 as well as many top three finishes and strong performances. In 2000, Garland was within a whisker of breaking 50,000 points.
Jeremy Booth of Garland was the top Varsity in Texas in 2012. Ben Lamb was the top Scholastic in Texas in 1997. Shourya Vyas was the top Large School Honors in Texas in 2026.
Garland High School Octathlon won first place in Octathlon in Texas in 2025.
