Matt Faytak competed for Pennsylvania's Collegiate Academy for three years as a student in the Honors division. He is currently a first-year at the University of Chicago, where he intends to major in linguistics or East Asian languages and Civilizations. In his spare time, he enjoys playing pool, writing, composing music, traveling whenever possible, and (of course) long walks on the beach.
