WSC/Topics/2014

The topic for the 2014 season was "The World Within".

The seniors and junior level subject areas were History, Literature, Arts (which also included music), Social Studies, Science, and a Special Area.

History

In 2014, the subject of History was "The History of Espionage."

Literature

In 2014, the subject of Literature was "Voices from the Inside."

Arts

In 2014, the subject of Arts was "Echoes of the Interior."

Social Studies

In 2014, the subject of Social Studies was "Worlds Within Walls."

Science

In 2014, the subject of Science was "Thoughtful Brain, Troubled Mind, which was the study of psychology."

Special Area

In 2014, the special area was "The Science of Decision Making, which included the study of economics."

The Global Championship Meet was held in Singapore, and attracted more than 2500 students from 30+ nations. The winning teams were Singapore's Hwa Chang Institution in the Senior Division and China's Dulwich College in the Junior Division.
