I am a Junior at La Salle College High School in Southeastern PA.
Sophomore Year 2006-07
I joined Acadec as a sophomore and competed as an honors. I didn't make the team for Regionals but I made our team for States with a score of 5648. (It's so low because I didn't read lit, music, are, or social science.) My team got a score of 34,697, good enough for 3rd. This is all despite having one varsity below 5,000 and another below 4,000, Kelvin Lam. At states, our team finished 6th with a score of 36,xxx. I scored 6,623 with no medals. If I were any category other than Large School Honors, I would have medaled in math and several other sections.
Junior Year 2007-08
This year, at the first scrimmage, I had a four event total of 2,920 and got 3rd overall with a silver in art with a score of 780. At the second scrimmage, I had a seven event total of 4,957 and got 2nd overal. I got a gold in art with 760, a bronze in Super Quiz written with 725, and a bronze in science with 720. My team won with a score of 23,4xx.
At Regionals, my team won with 38,220. I got third overall with 7,675 and five individual medals.
