Overview and Quick History[edit]
Academic Decathlon Scores and Information Center or simply ADSIC is a free, not-for-profit organizational website whose purpose is to upload results of various levels of competitions, as well as personal biographies and school biographies.
ADSIC originally started as AcadecScores (or ADS), with Phil Cerami as the first score comptroller. While the site had success, the software platform it ran on (XWiki) was prone at the time to spam. After about a year in operation, the site collapsed due to spam, and was shut down entirely in October/November 2006. (The original ADS opened up again in 2007 for the sole purpose of transferring score data to ADSIC.)
ADS was relaunched as ADS 2.0 on October 24, 2006 by Kort Everett Jackson, using the same software platform (XWiki), but stronger. However, public support never grew for the platform, and over the course of 5 months, Jackson, alongside David Gilman began to develop, implement and found a database on a installation of MediaWiki, a software platform that is far more stable than Xwiki, and is used by Wikipedia. Gilman developed the MySQL, PHP, and core programming, while Jackson developed the initial Navigational structure and concept ideas.
On March 15, 2007, ADSIC was launched with a renewed purpose that has gone far beyond the scope of ADS.

New Innovations on the way[edit]
ADSIC is always improving and expanding the scope of its offerings. Over the course of the next three months, ADSIC plans to add:
