Widget is also known by the name Brendan Guinn, and is a Varsity-level decathlete at St. Johns High School. He also frequents the AcaDecTalk forums, though he wishes his username to remain secret. In fact, it's so secret, that guessing it would be impossible for anyone other than Chris's mom.
Decathlon Experience[edit]
Brendan is returning from a third-place finish overall in the state of Arizona, and is at the moment the highest-scoring returning Varsity. He has, between various scrimmages and competitions, taken home sixty-five medals in two years. He is also ranked as the highest-scoring Varsity in the nation within the Small-School competition, but feels that the competition was lackluster, at best. He intends to be the first Varsity to break 9000 points, but fully expects a glorious and depressing faceplant, of titanic proportions.
