You may have noticed that I was working on a page for Des Moines North, however I'm having trouble with it. Feel free to delete it. Nhscody 23:07, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

Hello Nhscody! Welcome to DDSIC - I looked at the revisions for Des Moines North and you actually did a good job in adding information, so it would be a shame to delete the page!

Looks like you are having issues with the tables because you are forgetting the closing bracket on the Team History Table. The closing bracket should be a curly bracket, like this: }

When you don't have a closing bracket, the table will put everything after it into the table.

It looks strange because tables don't really go into other tables.

But you should add a curly bracket after "Team History," like this (click on the "edit" tab to see my code):

Team History

Year Regional Rank Score States Rank Score National Rank
2011 1st 29,330.0 4th 33,087 DNC

High Scorer Each Year

Year Student Division Place Score
2010 Julius Tembe Scholastic Didn't Place X > 6,841.7

Hopefully this is what you were trying to do? I recommend that you read DDSIC:Editing Manual and Tutorial. Please feel free to ask me any other questions - I would love to help! =)

I also encourage you to edit any other page on the wiki! Don't worry if you make a mistake, you can always revert your edit by clicking on the page's "history" tab. After all, breaking something is the best way to learn how it works! =) Madcap 03:31, 4 June 2011 (UTC)Madcap

Thanks for helping with that and posting a reference. I would work on another page if I had scores. My coach has a copy of all Iowa state 2011 medal winning scores. Monday is the last day of school, so hopefully I'm able to get them. Nhscody 18:14, 4 June 2011 (UTC)

Awesomesauce! If you do find the scores, you can copy and paste the below code into the page then just fill it out.

Okay

Thanks for the template, that makes it a lot easier. I'm not going to post any of it unless I have it all. Nhscody 00:35, 5 June 2011 (UTC)

Actually, if I was you, I would just go ahead and post it all on State/Iowa/2011. Someone else might even see it and help you fill it out. =) However, don't link your school's name every single time it appears on a page. Traditionally, we only link a school the first time the school's name appears in a page or major section. Otherwise, the results look quite cluttered. See how we do it on State/California/2011 for an example. Madcap 00:34, 5 June 2011 (UTC)Madcap

Okay, I will post it. I will keep in mind to only add the school one time. Nhscody 00:37, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
