Westminster High School is a high school in the Huntington Beach Unified High School District located in Westminster, California.

Team History

The Dawn Era (before 2022 CE)

Long before time had a name, Westminster High School was once the greatest Academic Decathlon team known to mankind. Its reign was so immensely overwhelming that scores of petty schools such as the high schools Woodbridge and Valencia, and especially Fairmont Preparatory Academy, swore loyalty to their Westminster overlords. The year of 2007 was where Westminster High School won the Orange County Academic Decathlon competition over the aforementioned schools. In fact, Dr. Robert Peterson, founder of the Academic Decathlon, wrote a prophecy detailing that the greatest scholastic division student that lived would join Westminster High School in the year 2022, described to possess a "lanky yet powerful stature" and a "deep, booming voice that transcended through the very Heavens themselves."

Legend tells of a another legendary decathlete whose skills were the stuff of legend. He traveled the county in search of worthy foes. His travels took him to a hotel dining room in Santa Clara.

Valencia Student:

"I see you like to chew. Maybe you should chew... ON MY FIST!"

The decathlete said nothing, for his mouth was full. Then he swallowed. And then he spoke.

"Enough talk. Let's fight!"

He was so deadly that his enemies would go blind from overexposure to pure awesomeness!

Klown: "MY EYES! HE'S TOO AWESOME!"

People asked how they could repay him for carrying the school to state, but he simply stated

"There is no charge for awesomeness... or attractiveness."

It mattered not how many foes he faced. They were no match for his bodacity.

Never before had a decathlete been so feared... and so loved, even being a guest speaker.

Unfortunately he made some... questionable tweets to say the least, and then like kind of lost some respect and credibility for dating a sophomore as a senior or something yeah that was a little weird so uhh he who shall not be named continues to live on.

Beyond this history, not much further is known, aside from ramblings found on an ancient clay tablet, rumored to have been found in the ruins of the Mesopotamian city of Ur, thus confirming Westminster High School's legendary status.

The Decline of Westminster High School: From Gold to Iron and Rust

Unfortunately, Westminster High School soon declined and most of its vassals broke away from it, soon even surpassing Westminster itself in ranking, especially Woodbridge and Valencia High Schools. However, despite these obstacles, it still remained a consistent Division 1 Top 5 scorer. Similarly to before, not much is known about this era as well, but most Westminster historians can agree on these historically accurate claims, which are all verified by the Federal Westminster Bureau of Information (FWBI).
